Central Park Panel - part I

During the week of June 15th, the Central Park
panel of the Great Wall got its start.
















First, we built the scaffold,




















next, we painted a base coat and made a grid,















and then we transferred the design.


Natalie and KT celebrated!

The first mural panel is complete!

First there was a wall

This is what the Great Wall of Topeka looked like before we began painting in 2007. The total length of the wall, which spans three blocks, is close to 900 feet.
