Great Mural Wall apprentice position available now!
Artists interested in apprenticing on the newest panel of the Great Mural Wall can apply now. The project will take place from August 25 - October 25 in Topeka. The theme of this panel will be "How Topeka got its name."
The first 3-4 weeks will focus on community meetings, research and design. Painting will begin In mid-September and continue until the mural is completed, probably late October. The selected apprentice will receive a $500 stipend.
Interested applicants should submit the following by August 22,
1. A one page letter describing their interest in the project, availability and qualifications
2. Resume
3. 5-10 examples of their work
